Following from the last update, it's 3 weeks later and we've just handed the final design files to the prototype company that is doing a 1 off lost foam prototype. It's a helluva deal for $5k to get this manifold prototyped with the quality that lost foam provides.
So, we actually have held a deadline from 3 weeks ago. Getting the design done was a major hurdle that took alot of time, and being beyond that now allows us to speed along as best we can through prototype and production.
I can't wait to test it.

Definitely will do. Now we are working with the production machinist to make casting changes to accomodate machining fixtures as needed. Prototype really is coming soon!

I'll provide a full update when we get the prototype. I'll offer pics, etc. We are doing one last change before pulling the trigger with the prototyper and that is to simplify the runner area exterior for casting purposes. Those changes should be final and sent to the prototyper on Monday (2 days from now).
Pics coming soon.

They've told me 3 weeks from when we send the drawing. We haven't sent them the final drawing yet. Trying to get the final changes made to help casting issues/costs... then we'll send it.

damn... its tough on the streets right now with these lighter cars running better engines.
how aggressive do you expect the tunes to be? will we be able to get a lot more out of it if we retune it ourselves after you guys have settled on a map to distribute or are you going to provide more aggressive tunes kind of like what hondata does? |

Our plan is to offer different k-pro tunes but there will be only 1 reflash tune for 91 octane and therefore slightly conservative because it has to be that way.
